To live a full life, to be the complete fulfillment of one’s potential, one must develop and prosper in all three ways of being: physical, mental and spiritual. Not either of them can have spontaneity, freedom, or be inhabited without the health of the others. This space, this art, works primarily for the mental aspect, it is dedicated to a healthy mind and the clarity of emotions.
It is meant to inspire, restore, relax and comfort – in a mental way. And that is nothing short of valuable! Mental health, comfort and clarity are much-needed qualities in this world. It is my genuine desire that this art will bring exactly that, to people who appreciate and seek those qualities.
About this art
Through the medium of camera lenses, these digitally edited artworks are directly based on the physical reality we encounter day by day. These artworks are not created but found. I do work on them, but I don’t create something new, I just aim to find something that is already there. A photograph can document the physicality of any given space or object, but it takes human input to document the emotional and intellectual depths, too. To show other realities we live in that are not plainly visible to the eye. These artworks offer inspiration, meaning, and a different way of seeing, both to the viewer and just as much, to the artist.
This fine art explores architecture, landscape and order. Both of the physical and of the psyche. As they come about, these artworks show different realities, such as health, safety, confidence, comfort, mental relaxedness and wholeness, and so we can align with those realities to recover from fear, feeling blocked, feeling drained.
About me (David Wagner)
I study architecture in Budapest and find it extraordinarily fascinating how we can become a quality just by holding it as available, and aligning with it. I have experienced it several times that being inspired (having mental energy), being happy (having emotion energy) and being confident and in a state of comfort (physical energy) are just a decision away. This art I create is like windows to these qualities, realities, where energy is present, in different qualities. I am driven to look for and find new windows, clearer ones, with better view, so that when less energy is present, I can just look over to places where more energy is present, and instantly be there.
